Fully digital instrument dials and level two ‘autonomous’ driver aids should add to its appeal. After evaluating available panoramic X-ray machines, I selected a leading manufacturers unit, configured without the cephalometric attachment. With the XE4’s 1.5x crop factor APSC sensor, this lens had a full-frame equivalent of roughly 35mm and felt perfectly suited to this application.
